The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said they will probe into the alleged negligence of late singer, MohBad’s petition to the police over threat to life by music promoter Samson Erinfolami Balogun, aka Sam Larry and others.
The petition dated 27th June 2023, alleged that Sam Larry and 15 others, stormed a video shoot where the deceased and another artiste, Zlatan Ibile, were working, armed, and threatening to wreak havoc.
The petition further claimed that they destroyed equipment worth over N5m at the scene, and assaulted the deceased who narrowly escaped with injuries.
“Sir, I call on your good office to save my life from the above-mentioned persons and bring them to book,” the petition partly read.
Posting a copy of the petition on his X handle, ACP Adejobi, stated: “We will look into the alleged police negligence on this case.”
