I wanted to refuse and send her back – Nigerian pastor reveals his initial reaction to a female barber brought to cut his hair

A Nigerian pastor, Rev. Ogbonnaya Igwe, has revealed his initial reaction after his personal assistant brought a female barber to cut his hair.
According to the pastor, he wanted to refuse her service but something told him that sending her away is contrary to his preaching.
Writing further, Rev. Igwe, said a woman in a male-dominated field is an inspiration to young ladies who depend on men for financial help.
“The man that used to cut my hair traveled, and I sent my PA to go and get me another person to come,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
“When I saw this lady come to cut my hair, I wanted to refuse and send her back but something in me said, this is what you used to preach, never go contrary to your preaching, that one can always make a difference.
“The spirit of God ministered to me to encourage her. This young lady is a great inspiration to many young ladies out there who are depending on men or others for financial help. She knows how to make women’s hair and men, I am thinking of opening a Unisex Salon for her, so she can have her own shop to inspire and train many other ladies, as I trust God for provision. We all can make a difference in a different way to inspire our generation. Working is better than begging.”
