
U-20 World Cup: Two countries eliminated from competition
As of Friday night, at least two countries have been eliminated from the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
The two teams eliminated from the World Cup are Guatemala and Fiji.
Fiji crashed out of the ongoing 2023 World Cup after losing 9-0 against Ecuador in their final Group B stage fixture on Friday.
Guatemala, on the other hand, lost 2-0 against Uzbekistan in their final Group A stage fixture.
Both countries have zero points from three group stage matches.
Meanwhile, at least two more countries will be eliminated from the group stage later today.
Brazil will face Nigeria, who have already booked a place in the last 16.
The Dominican Republic will tackle Italy, Japan will clash with Israel, and Colombia will take on Senegal.
