The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival has just kick-started and veteran Nollywood actress, Chika Ike has blazed the trail as the first Nigerian actress invited to grace the red-carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, and has been ranked on the best dressed list on Vogue, New york Times and Harper’s Bazaar.
For the first time, a Nollywood actress has been invited to walk the red-carpet of the Cannes Film Festival and we are loving her entire look – from her hair, to her makeup and the DRESS. Chika Ike came in, took no prisoners, she understood the assignment and she delivered exactly what was ordered.
Nollywood movies have been screened at the Cannes Film Festival in the past, but never has an actor or actress been invited to walk the red-carpet, making Chika ike the first Nollywood actor to walk those graceful steps and carpet, alongside her Hollywood counterparts.
